Doodling with Brushes: Alvaro


I'm fooling around with Brushes now, although a bigger screen does not seem to do much for my (poor) skills with digital painting. Looks like I'm doomed to paper, duh. This is my youngest nephew and future godson Alvaro, napping happily

I don't know exactly why, but colors and I do not get along :( This is a second try to draw Asha Greyjoy, from A song of Fire and Ice, in digital colors. In my first one, I used just plain tones and got no volumes. I've tried to improve that in this one, but still, I'm not totally in with the effect ..Luckily, I still got the hang on quick sketching :)
